SECTION 1 ‐ GENERAL INFORMATION AND SAFETY
INTENDED USE
This square baler is designed to be towed by an
agricultural tractor and powered by the tractor's
power take-off, refer to Section 3 for tractor
requirements.
It is intended to be used to pick-up and bale forage and
straw crops including, but not limited to, mixed
hay/grass types and lucerne, for agricultural purposes
on cultivated land.
In addition, this baler can be used to pick-up and bale
wilted grass for silage at a moisture content ranging
from 25 to 50% dry matter.
PROHIBITED USAGE:
All other uses than those mentioned above are
prohibited. No parts or attachments should be fitted
to this machine, which have not been released by
CASEIH. They might affect machine operation, safety
of the user or other people, stability or wear
characteristics of the machine. They may also void
the homologation approval obtained for your country.
PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION
The machine is identified using a serial number
and/or a manufacturing code. Machine identification
information must be supplied to the dealer when
requesting parts or service and will also be needed to
aid in identifying the machine if it is ever stolen.
