SECTION 1 - GENERAL INFORMATION AND SAFETY

30 The knotter fans have no grid in front of the blades. The
fan mounting plate has a wide bent over guard to prevent reaching accidentally into the fans. Safety decals
draw your attention to this potential safety hazard.
Do not step or lean on the guard.
Do not reach under the guard when the fans are in
operation.
PROTECTIVE DEVICES
PARKBRAKE
Mounted below the rear toolbox is the parking brake
(where fitted), and is operated by turning the handle
clockwise or anti clockwise to apply or release the
brakes.
TOOLBOXES
Small
The small lockable toolbox can be located on the left
hand side of the baler at (1) for the smaller items,
spanners, pliers, etc.
Large
The large toolbox is an internal part of the baler and
mounted to the rear at the right hand side.
LIFTING THE BALER
When lifting the baler, always make sure that all loose
components are securely fastened to the machine:
PTO front half
Hydraulic hoses
Monitor and road light wire harnesses
Pick-up gauge wheels
