(1c) How to write fractions in natural display using the Casio fx-9860GII
1. From the main menu, highlight the RUN•MAT icon
and press
l.
2. Press L then p for the Set-up screen; scroll
down to Frac Result. At the bottom of the screen,
there are two choices;
q will display fractions
as "improper", while w will display fractions as
mixed numbers.
3. Select q to display answers as "improper"
fractions. Then, press d to return to the initial
screen.
4. To enter the fraction

, press 3z8. This
calculator utilizes Natural Display, allowing for input
and output to appear as it would in a textbook.
