10. Close the protective lid, the blade guard ap and
tighten the clamping screws (g. 4.17 and 4.20).
11. Check the running smoothness and blade xing by
a short run of the freely rotating saw blade (refer to
section 4.4).
If necessary, re-tighten the cutting shaft screw.
DANGER!
Danger due to insufcient saw blade
xing and wobbling diamond saw blade!
A saw blade with insufcient core tension is noticeable
by an untrue and wobbling run.
4.5.4 Changing the cutting side
The joint cutter CF-2116 can be used for right or left
side cutting.
For converting the CF-2116 D from right to left side cut-
ting (and vice-versa) proceed as follows:
1. Dismount the diamond saw blade (refer to section
4.5.3).
Put aside the blade receiving ange, the clamping
ange and the cutting shaft screw (g. 4.19).
2. Close the blade guard (ap) and dismount the blade
guard’s protective lid by loosening and removing
the 2 clamping screws (with washers) (g. 4.17 and
4.18).
3. Dismount the splash guard by loosening and remov-
ing the xing screw (with washer) (g. 4.24).
4. Disconnect the cooling water hose from the water
pump (pumped water) or from the water tank (water
supplied under pressure – as per section 4.7 and g.
4.27).
5. Loosen the nut (with washer) at the fore interior of
the blade guard (g. 4.25) and loosen and remove
the two xing screws (with washers) rear at the blade
guard (g. 4.26).
6. Lift the blade guard off the cutting shaft (g. 4.27).
