Time remaining calculation
Upon a successful self-test, the control module screen will show two dashes while
calculating the operator’s usage rate. After three minutes it will display the
operator’s
time remaining to empty.
No TIME REMAINING to empty will be displayed for the first three minutes of use;
two
dashes will be displayed in place of a time. During this time, the BA measures
the
operator’s breathing rate and calculates the time remaining. The control
module screen
will display the operator’s time remaining to zero.
The remaining time indicated on the secondary screen is to 0 bar of air remaining in
the
cylinder.
During use, this is recalculated on the last three minutes of air use and updated every
30
seconds.
Digital screen indicators and icons
The digital screen allows access to two screens; primary and secondary.
