3.4.2 Measurement Functions
The AC source offers 7 measurement functions to the user. All the functions can be
specified to display in the main operational menu as stated in the previous subsection. The
definitions of the functions are listed in the following table:

It is the measurement readings of Voltage in Volts. (true RMS measurement)
It is the measurement readings of Frequency in Hertz.
It is the measurement readings of Current in Amperes. (true RMS
measurement)
It is the true Power measurement in Watts.
It is the Crest Factor, and its calculation formula = Ipeak/Irms.

3.5 Protection
The AC source provides protection for software and hardware. Protection for software is
listed below:
When current is over the limit, protection is given.
When power is over the limit, protection is given.
The user cannot program the voltage more than the set voltage limit.
During the operation of the AC source, this message will be
displayed when the set voltage is beyond the full scale of the current
voltage range.
Protection for hardware is listed on the next page too.
It is power failure protection, and means that the voltage of the
power supply is lower than specification.
It is fan failure protection, and means that the cooling fan
malfunctions.
It is over power protection, and means that the output stage is over
the power specification.
It is over current protection, and means that the output stage is over
the current specification.
It is short protection, and means that the output terminals are
shorted.
It is power failure protection, and means that the voltage of the input
