FTP communication errors
The possible causes that may lead to FTP communication errors:
The FTP settings are wrongs.
Procedure to follow:
Test all the FTP settings on a PC with FileZilla for example and verify the
connection to the FTP server.
Correct the server configuration and set up the CU with it.
If this has not solved the problem, please contact Cimel technical support.
HTTP(S) communication errors
The possible causes that may lead to HTTP(S) communication errors:
The HTTP(S) settings are wrongs.
The HTTPS communication always fails to upload data.
Procedure to follow:
Try to connect to the HTTP(S) server using a web navigator on a PC.
Correct the server configuration and set up the CU with it.
Check the configured server port. Usually, 80 port HHTP and 443 for HTTPS.
To communicate with a secured HTTP server, be sure that the CU board is
able to use secured connection. Refer to the “HTTP / HTTPS over GPRS”
chapter.

8 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. How often should the calibration process be made?
The photometer should go through the calibration process every 12 to 24 months.
Depending on the quality of the measurements, the season, and the meteorological
phenomenon that occurs, the calibration process can be forwarded or postponed up
to 3 months.
