There are no memory-only upgrade options for RSP720-3CXL-GE.
• The RSP720-3CXL SP has one miniDIMM socket that accepts any vendor's 2GB DIMM. However,
the RSP720-3CXL RP has two miniDIMM sockets. You must use the DIMMs from the same vendor
for these sockets.
• The following hardware and features are not supported by the RSP720-3CXL-GE :
– Unsupported chassis: CISCO7603, OSR-7609 (supported in SRA but not later releases).
– Unsupported modules: Optical Service Modules (OSMs), FlexWAN module (Enhanced
FlexWAN module is supported).
– In-service software upgrade (ISSU) is not supported in Cisco IOS Release 12.2SRB.
• The RSP720-3CXL-GE supports the SPA-IPSEC-2G beginning with Cisco IOS Release
12.2(33)SRC.
