wire entry point.
When combining multiple switches on a single circuit, refer to the switch ampacity tables
below to verify that the number of switches is appropriate, given the circuit’s voltage and
ampacity. The switch ampacity table provides number of units that fit on a single circuit
(after derating to 80% of capacity), i.e. 15A circuit gives number of units possible when only
12A (80% of 15A) is used.
