1-Port OC-192c/STM-64 POS/RPR VSR Optics SPA Fixed Optical Transceiver,
Connector, and Cables
The 1-Port OC-192c/STM-64 POS/RPR VSR Optics SPA uses fixed optical transceivers, one for receive
(RX) and one for transmit (TX), for SONET and SDH connection to the network. Only Very Short Reach
(VSR) optics are supported.
The 1-Port OC-192c/STM-64 POS/RPR VSR Optics SP
A uses multimode MTP-type connectors:
• Multimode—9.95 Gbps, OC-192 optical fiber (SONET STS-192c or SDH STM-64c)
Use a multimode optical fiber that has a modal-f
ield diameter of 8.7 ±0.5 microns. (Nominal
diameter is approximately 10/125 microns.)
Use a multimode optical fiber cable to connect your router to a network.
