Configuring Web Access
You can enable HTTPS and remote management on the LAN interface of the Cisco
RV180/RV180W. If a user connects a PC to the LAN port, web access is then
allowed using secure HTTP (HTTPS).
To enable HTTPS access on the LAN port:
STEP 1 Choose Administration > Management Interface > Web Access.
STEP 2 Under HTTPS Web Access on LAN Interface, check Enable.
To configure Remote Management:
STEP 1 Under Remote Management, check Enable.
STEP 2 Under Access Type, choose the type of entity that will be allowed to remotely
manage the router:
• All IP Addresses—All IP addresses will be allowed to connect to the web
management interface.
• IP Address Range—Only IP addresses in the configured range will be
allowed to connect to the web management interface.
• Single IP Address—Only the configured IP address will be allowed to
connect to the web management interface.
STEP 3 If you chose IP Address Range in Step 2, enter the Start and End of the IP
Address Range in the Start of Range and End of Range fields. If you chose Single
IP Address, enter the IP address in the IP Address field.
STEP 4 Enter the port number on which remote access will be enabled.
STEP 5 To enable remote management of the router by SNMP, check the Enable box.
STEP 6 Click Save.
