O
to both the edge and the flat side of the wood.
Adjust the mitre gauge and the blade to the desired angle, and ensure the mitre gauge
body is locked.
WARNING!
WHEN MITRE CUTTING, AN AREA OF BLADE IS EXPOSED.
GREAT CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN USING THE MACHINE FOR THIS OPERATION.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, SWITCH MACHINE OFF AND REMOVE PLUG FROM POWER SOURCE
BEFORE ADJUSTING, MAINTAINING OR LUBRICATING YOUR SAW.
Do not allow sawdust to accumulate inside the saw. Use a dust extractor if possible, if not,
frequently blow out any dust that may accumulate inside the saw cabinet and the motor.
Inspect the power cable frequently. If it is worn or cut, or damaged in any way, have it
replaced immediately.
NOTE: Certain cleaning agents and solvents can damage plastic parts. Some of these are: gasoline,
carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and household detergents which contain
ammonia. Avoiding the use of these and other types of cleaning agents will minimise the possibility of
damage.
A coat of wax applied to the table will help to keep the surface clean and allow workpieces
to slide more freely.
