Combustion
air
enters
through
the
air
inlet.
The
forced
draft
fan
forces
air
through
the
rotary
air
damper
and
the
diffuser
into
the
combustion
chamber.
The
main
fire
tube
or
combustion
chamber,
constitutes
pass
one. Baffling
allows
gases
to
pass
to
the
front
of
the
boiler
only
through
P.ass two;
here
a
baffle
allows
gases
to
pass
to
the
rear
of
the
boiler
only
through
pass
three.
From
the
rear
the
gases
are
forced
through
pass
four
to
the
vent.
