CFC-E Installation Manual
Part No. 750-459 1-5
1.1.4 - Placing the boiler
If the floor is not level, a raised pad slightly larger in length and width than the boiler base dimensions
will make boiler installation and leveling easier. The boiler must be installed so that all components
remain accessible for inspection, cleaning, or maintenance. Field-installed piping and electrical
connections must be arranged so as to avoid interfering with removal of the casing panels or with the
burner door.
The boiler or boilers should be mounted in a space in accordance with Figure 1-6 below. Required front,
rear, and side clearances are shown.
Note: If the boiler room is constructed with non-combustible walls, it is possible to install the units
closer to the side walls. Access to the rear of the boilers from one side must be maintained;
front and rear clearances must be maintained.

*Service clearance requirements only - review local codes for additional requirements.
WARNING! Do not install the boiler on carpeting.
