CFC-E Installation Manual
1-4 Part No. 750-459
1.1.3 - Lifting with crane (3500-6000)
It is not necessary to remove the burner or lower casing. After removing the top casing sections the
boiler can be lifted using the lifting lugs provided.
Use of a spreader beam is recommended (and often necessary) to reduce the required length of the
rigging chains. The use of a beam will prevent stress on the boiler vessel and will help to avoid damage
to the burner components.
For additional rigging information refer to CFC-E
handling instructions, CB document CB-8597, or
contact your local representative.
CFC-E 2500-6000 models include tape on the
panels to prevent casing damage during transit.
Once the boiler is in its final location, the tape
should be removed. If it is required to remove the
panels for rigging, the tape should be removed at
that time, and the casing panels carefully stored
to prevent damage.
