In accordance with the UNI-EN ISO 3744 regulation, the average sound pressure level refers to a distance of 1 m from the outer surface
of a ducted unit installed on the ceiling.
Measurements are made in accordance to the UNI EN ISO 9614-2, with units installed over two sound reflective surfaces.
If the unit is installed in conditions other than the nominal ones (for instance, near walls or obstacles in generally) the sound levels may
undergo substantial variations.
