Sup19 is equipped with a self levelling device
mounted near the turret. As long as the chassis remains
leveled, properly stabilised and frame inclination does not
exceed +/- 8° out of level position, this device allows the
aerial platform to work.
However once this critical point is reached, it will
block/stop further operation in the direction of the out of
level inclination. You must return the aerial platform
booms back to less than +/- 4° aforesaid value, the pilot
lights stop flashing and stabilize indicating the operations
consent.
Although you may have consent to use the platform
once the stabilizers touch the ground and the minimum
stabilization is complete, CMC recommends the operator to
continue raising the chassis with the stabilizers until the
tracks reach a minimum height of 200 mm/8” above
ground (Picture 27
), insuring sufficient ground pressure,
to prevent the lift from shutting down operation.
