Materials which have not been approved by the manufacturer are not guaranteed
to be safe and non-toxic. When subjected to the thermal welding/trimming
process, they might release harmful vapours or ignite.
The use of this book covering machine for other purposes and/or the use of
covering material which has not been approved by the manufacturer may cause
injury to persons or damage the machine itself. Such conduct is therefore
considered to be an Improper Use
for which the manufacturer disavows all
liability.
An Improper Use
of the book covering machine will also result in the forfeiture of
the warranty.
¾ Avoid spilling liquids (such as water, coffee, other drinks, etc.) on the unit. Keep corrosive
liquids and/or solvents far away from the unit.
¾ Prior to starting a cycle, make sure that there are no clips, staples or other objects (except the
cover/envelopes) between the welding bar and the lower contrast surface.
¾ During the welding cycle do not turn the unit off by either disconnecting the power cable or
switching off the main switch.
¾ To obtain a correct welding/trimming:
Ensure that the recommendations
previously indicated on section 2.1 -
“Choosing the installation site” have been
followed, especially for what concerns the
easy access to the unit, height and
leveling of the support surface.
Keep the covers/envelopes in the same
room where the covering machine is
installed, to avoid sudden changes in
material temperature
