WASHING THE TEXTILE UNIT AND MAINTE-
NANCE OF THE SENSORS

To make sure that HOWDY BABY is operating correctly,
we recommend to carry out the following operational
checks at least once a week:
1.Visual inspection of the hermetic closure of the
electronic unit: there should be no openings.
2.Visual inspection of the textile unit: the sensors
should be smooth and with an even surface.
Environmental conditions for use, transport and
storage of the HOWDY BABY device
• Operating temperature range: +5°C – +45 °C
•Operating relative humidity: 10% - 95% without
condensation
• Atmospheric operating pressure: 700-1060 hPa
• Temperature range for storage/depot: -10 – +70 °C
• Relative humidity in storage/depot: 10% - 95% without
condensation
• Atmospheric pressure in storage/depot: 700-1060 hPa
• Please use a cloth damped with water to clean the
electronic unit.
• Please take care when using the damped cloth
and avoid water or liquid next to the snap buttons
connecting the electronic unit to the textile unit.
The sensorized bands (CMF9TXM13 and CMF9TXM14)
are disposable. Do not wash or reuse them.
The textile unit CMF9TXM10 ( sensorized body) can be
washed following the instructions below.
•It is recommended to wash the textile unit after each
use.
•The textile unit should normally be washed in the
washing machine at 30° with delicate cycle.

FLASHING GREEN ONCE: the electronic unit is
transmitting and is charged (>20%)
FLASHING GREEN TWICE: the electronic unit is
saving the recording in the memory and is charged
(>20%)
FLASHING RED ONCE: the electronic unit is
transmitting and its charge is low (<20%)
FLASHING RED TWICE: the electronic unit is saving
the recording in the memory and its charge is low
(<20%)
The electronic unit cannot be submerged in
water: always remember to detach it from the
textile unit before washing it.
• Protection level of the electronic unit: IP22 (Protected
against solid bodies of superior dimensions to 12mm,
protected against falling water when tilted up to 15°).
