Grounding of Intercom Server
 If heavy electromagnetic interference is to be expected (industrial environments) -> grounding of the
Intercom Server
 If grounding is applied, then it must be carried out consequently in the entire system!
 Inconsequent grounding measures can lead to degradation of the interference robustness
(e.g.: when only the shield lines of the ASK cables are grounded)
 The GE 800 is prepared for grounding via the design (grounding surfaces) of the bus PCB and the
interface cards.
Additional measures
 Using “ferrite cores” at the subsrciber cable against high-frequency interference
 Use shielded twisted pair cables - for A and B and C and D each a twisted pair of wires
