5.14 Audio Board and Audio Cable
1. To remove the audio board and audio cable:
2. Disconnect the AC power and any external devices (Section 5.3.1).
3. Remove the battery pack (Section 5.3.3).
4. Remove the DualBay device (Section 5.3.4).
5. Remove any PCMCIA cards (Section 5.3.5).
6. Remove the keyboard (Section 5.6).
7. Remove the microphone/display cable cover and microphone (Section 5.10).
8. Remove the clutch covers/display assembly (Section 5.11.1).
9. Remove the screw 1 from the audio board.
10. Disconnect the audio cable 2.
11. Slide the audio board 3 from the connector on the system board and remove the audio board.

CAUTION: Do not use the long T-8 screw to secure the Audio board. Use of the
long screw can damage the system board.
To replace the audio cable or audio board, reverse the steps.
