Reverse the above procedure to install an option card.
Chapter 5.12 System Board
The system board rests on the bottom of the base pan under the option
cards. It is not necessary to remove expansion cards or an option card
prior to removing the system board.
The replacement system board is shipped from the factory with the bracket
and I/O panel installed.
System Board Removal
To remove the system board from the computer, complete the following
steps:
1. Complete the steps in Section 5.3 to prepare the computer for
disassembly.
2. Complete the steps in Unit Cover Removal and Replacement in Section 5.4
to gain access to the system board.
