16. INSTALLATION
The installation should be carried out by a qualified technician.
A water softener has to be installed when the hardness of the water supply is superior to 10° TH.
The water softener has to be regenerated at regular intervals.
A water cut-off valve and a standardised electrical circuit protection in accordance with the
voltage and the installed power must be installed.
The water supply pipe has to be connected to the barbed nipple 3/8” at the pump head inlet. The
drain pipe has to be connected to the barbed nipple 3/8” of the drain collector and must always
allow the outflow.
THE PROTECTIONS MUST COMPLY TO THE DOMESTIC STANDARDS WHERE THE MACHINE IS
INSTALLED AND ARE AT THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSABILITY AND CHARGE.
When the machine is not operating, the water cut-off valve has to be closed and the electrical
power supply cut.
NOTE:
• WHEN THE MACHINE IS NOT SUPERVISED IT MUST BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE
POWER AND WATER SUPPLY.
• IT IS FUNDAMENTAL THAT THE MACHINE IS EARTHED BY THE TERMINAL PLUG.
• NEVER DISCONNECT THE EARTHING WHEN THE MACHINE IS CONNECTED TO THE
POWER SUPPLY.
• MEANS FOR DISCONNECTION FROM THE SUPPLY HAVING A CONTACT SEPARATION
OF AT LEAST 3 MM IN ALL POLES SHALL BE INCORPORATED IN THE FIXED WIRING
ACCORDING TO THE WIRING RULES.
17. OPERATION:
WATER SUPPLY
Open the water supply tap and the water cut-off valve. Do not connect the electrical connection.
A. FIRST FILLING
Switch the machine on in pressing ON/OFF
switch “C” (located below the front panel). The
blue lights of the keys light up and the
automatic filling up of the boiler starts. The
machine does not heat. When water reaches the
level probe, the automatic heating of the boiler
will start.
B. NEXT FILLING
The boiler will be automatically filled as long as
hot water and steam are drawn (level probe)

T IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY IS SHUT OFF DURING THE SERVICE ON THE
MACHINE
