2.3.6 Power Supply
LU1 contains an integrated power supply (DC/DC converters) on board. It generates all the voltages
needed within different blocks. The input voltag e is fed b y either of the PIMs (redundancy with
two PIMs). The generated output voltages are galvanically isolated from the b attery voltage. LU1
also has polarity protection for input voltages.
2.3.7 Test Features
During boot-up, LU1 performs self tests to verify that the system operational status is nominal.
During normal operation, the CPU monitors the following:
LU1 operating voltages
Temperature inside LU1
