Intel® Rapid Recovery Technology
SATA ports 1 through 6 also support Intel ® Rapid Recover Technology. It uses RAID 1 to copy data
from a master drive to a secondary, or recovery drive. This process can be configured to be
continuous or on request. If the slave drive is disconnected or offline, the continuous mode will copy
any changes to the secondary or slave drive as soon as it is reconnected. In request mode, data
from the secondary or slave drive can be copied back to the master drive.
Intel® Rapid Start Technology
Intel Rapid Start allows the system to enter hibernate or even zero power state while providing a very
fast (few seconds) resume. It is similar to a laptop hibernate function and requires Windows Vista
and above, and a SSD (Solid State Drive)
