4. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to turn the screw located next to the
control knob stem until the flame is the proper size.
• Turning the screw clockwise will decrease the flame size.
• Turning the screw counterclockwise will increase the flame size.
5. Replace the control knob.
6. Test and check the flame by turning the control knob from the lowest to
the highest settings.
7. Repeat the previous steps for each burner.
NOTE:
• For burners (on older units) with safety valve, make sure that the
regulation obtained is sufficient to maintain heating of the
thermocouple. If it is not, increase the minimum flame.
ABNORMAL OPERATION
ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ARE CONSIDERED TO BE ANBORMAL OPERATION
AND MAY REQUIRE SERVICING:
• Yellow burner flames.
• Sooting up of cooking utensils.
• Burners not igniting properly.
• Burners failing to remain lit.
• Burners extinguished by oven door.
• Gas valves, which are difficult to turn.
IN CASE THE APPLIANCE FAILS TO OPERATE CORRECTLY, CONTACT THE
AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDE IN YOUR AREA.
THE BURNERS REQUIRE NO REGULATION OF THE PRIMARY AIR.
