through the blade. Push sticks
with non slip grippers are readily
available products but a shop
made push stick work just as
well.
When ripping extremely narrow
stock that may not clear the width
of the blade guard, or very thin
material such as wood paneling,
attach a piece of wood to the
fence as an auxiliary guide. This
can help prevent thin wood
slipping between the table and
underside of the fence.
WARNING!!!
When a rip cut is completed, shut down
the saw and wait for the blade to come
to a complete stop before reaching
toward the blade to remove the work
piece or waste material.
