When your saw is to be stored for over 30 days
always:
1. Drain oil tank.
2. Remove, clean, and dry the bar and chain,
3. S tqre.the chain in a container fitted with oil to
prevent rust.
4. Apply a coating of oil to the entire surface of
the bar and wrap it in heavy paper, cloth, or
plastic.
5. Wipe off the outside, surfaces of the unit.
6. Store the. saw in a dr_y place out of the reach
of children,
