9 Troubleshooting
• Causes and measures for troubles in chassis are described below.

1. Clutch slips off. • Adjustment failure of clutch

2. Clutch cannot be
disengaged.

3. It brakes deficiently or
only one side.
Brake does not work

• Free play of brake pedal is
excessive.
• Adjust free play of pedal. 35 to 45mm

• Wear and galling of brake
lining
• Change brake lining.
• Operating amount on each side
differs.
• Adjust operating amount
even on both sides.
4. Brake pedal does not
return to properly
position.
• Brake return spring is
damaged.
• Change spring.
• Grease at sliding part is
insufficient.
• Apply more grease.

2. Steering is heavy or
easily lost control.
• Uneven air pressure in tires. • Adjust to the specified air
pressure on both sides.
• Excessive backlash in each
end.
• Tighten or change parts.
• Excessive viscosity in used oil. • Change oil or warm up
sufficiently.
• Toe in failure. • Adjust. 0 to 10mm
