(1) Transmission Case
(2) Intermediate Case
a. First Stage (Disconnection of Intermediate
Case and Transmission Case)
1. Support the lower of transmission case (1) with a
hydraulic jack.
2. Disengage tightening bolt (3) and nut (4) from inter-
mediate case (2) and transmission case.
3. Disconnect intermediate case (2) and transmission
case (1).

A. Disconnection of Intermediate Case Group
(When reassembling)
• Make sure PTO clutch assembly and spline hub is
seated properly. Apply the contacted surface of in-
termediate case and transmission case with seal-
ing agent.
