14 PREPARATION
Gasoline is extreme_j _mmable and can be
explosLve under certain condltio_
Before refueling, turn the engine swish to
OFF position. Do not smoke. Make sure
• e area is well ventilated and free from any
sou_ of flame or sparks, including any a_
pliances _ a _lot !igM.
Never flU tank so that fuel level rises into
• e filler neck. If tank is overfilled, heat may
cause fuel to expand a_ overflow through
vents in tank cap.
After refueling make sure tank cap is se-
curely closed.
If gasoline is spilled, wi_ it up immedla_ly.
• Levelthe enginebefore fueling.
• Removethe fuel tank cap,
• S_y pour fuel into De tank _mugh the fuel
strainer.
• C_ the tank cap securely.
Engine Oil
Che_ the engine oil daily before sta_ingthe en-
g_e othe_ise sho_ageofthe engineoil may _use
seriousdamage to the engine such_ seizure.
• Place the e_ine on level surface. Clean area
around the oilgauge before removing it.
s Remove the, oil gauge (A) and wipe _ with clean
cloth,
• Pourtheoilslowlyto";FULL"markontheoilgaul.
• Inse_ the oil gauge into tube (B) WITHOUT
SCREWING;iT IN.
• Remove the oil gauge (A) to checkthe oil ;level.
Level should be between "ADD" and =FULL"
marks, Do not overfili,
• Install and tighten,the oil gauge (A).
