Recommended Settings
Each time the DuraNET 3300 is zeroized, the settings listed below are cleared. It is recommended to
reenable these settings with the following commands:
enable
config t
license smart reservation
license smart transport off
service declassify erase-nvram
end
copy run start
license smart reservation: Specific License Reservation allows customers in highly secure networks to
utilize smart licenses without communicating the license information.
license smart transport off: This command is useful for systems that never see internet, so the switch
doesn’t call home to verify and/or update license. Ideal for offline topology.
service declassify erase-nvram: This command enables nvram zeroization.
