m1, m8, m9, m1, mENT 1891 is the consist built in the
previous example. If your consist number is different, use it
instead.
All of the locomotives, including the lead unit, are shown. Also
notice that the direction orientation are also shown through the use
of a lower case n or r. By default, the lead locomotive is always
normal. If the consist has more than 2 locomotive addresses, a +
symbol will be shown on the second line. Push the ENT to see the
next set of locomotive addresses. Push ESC to cancel the
command.
The + sign indicates there may be additional locomotives in the
consist. To see the remaining locomotives, if any, push ENT. Since
this consist has only 3 locos, the bottom line is blank. Push ESC to
return to the home page.

mCONSIST [ the SETUP key]
mENT
In this example, only one standard consist has been loaded,
number 1891. Additional standard consist numbers would be
separated by a plus sign. If there are more than can fit on the line,
push ENT to see the remaining consist numbers. Push ESC to
return to the home page.
This command displays the consist number for the entered locomotive address, the type of
consist and the orientation in the consist. This is a very handy tool when a locomotive is not
responding to the throttle. If this occurs, the most likely causes is that the loco address has been
placed into a consist, either on purpose or accidentally. This command can quickly confirm if this
is the cause of the problem. For this example, locomotive 2841 will be checked.
mSHOW,
mLOCO [ push the SHOW key again ]
m2, m8, m4, m1,
mENT
mCONSIST [which is the SETUP key ]
For locomotive 2841, the screen shows that it is in a Standard
consist numbered 1891. The orientation shows reversed.
When the abbreviation ADV is shown, it means the locomotive
address is in an Advanced consist and not a Standard consist. .
If a locomotive that is in more than one consist only the lowest
consist number is shown when this command is used.
If the locomotive is not in a consist, the display will say “Loco nnnn is in NO consist.”
Push ESC to return to the home page.
