Additional Standard Consist Error Messages
If trying to assign the Standard consist's lead loco to another consist:
A consist can not include another lead loco of another consist.
This is sometimes called “nested” consists and is not allowed. If
you attempt to assign a locomotive that is already used as the lead
locomotive in another consist, the Command Station will display
the following message where nnn1 is the loco address that is being
assigned to consist nnn2.
If trying to assign more than more than 7 additional locomotives to a consist:
A total of 8 locomotives (7 plus the lead loco) may be in a standard
consist. In this message, nnnn is the loco number to be added
standard consist number xxxx which is full and will not take any
more locomotives.
If an internal error occurs during ADD, DELETE or KILL:
The Command Station handles many simultaneous functions.
Sending speed and direction commands takes top priority.
Because of this, it is possible to miss a keystroke during consist
editing. If this occurs, and you see this message, just repeat the
command.
If assigning a loco address that is already in an Advanced Consist
A locomotive can not be in both a standard consist and an
advanced consist at the same time. If this is attempted, this
message is displayed. Locomotive nnn1 is already in an Advanced
Consist so cannot be assigned to standard consist nnn2. First
remove the locomotive from the advanced consist, before
assigning it to a standard consist.
