Appendix E - Warranty
Limited Software Warranty:
D-Link warrants that the software portion of the product (“Software”) will substantially conform to D-Link’s then current functional specications
fortheSoftware,assetforthintheapplicabledocumentation,fromthedateoforiginalretailpurchaseoftheSoftwareforaperiodofninety(90)
days(“SoftwareWarrantyPeriod”),providedthattheSoftwareisproperlyinstalledonapprovedhardwareandoperatedascontemplatedinits
documentation.D-Linkfurtherwarrantsthat,duringtheSoftwareWarrantyPeriod,themagneticmediaonwhichD-LinkdeliverstheSoftwarewill
befreeofphysicaldefects.Thecustomer’ssoleandexclusiveremedyandtheentireliabilityofD-LinkanditssuppliersunderthisLimitedWarranty
willbe,atD-Link’soption,toreplacethe non-conformingSoftware(ordefectivemedia)withsoftwarethatsubstantiallyconformstoD-Link’s
functionalspecicationsfortheSoftwareortorefundtheportionoftheactualpurchasepricepaidthatisattributabletotheSoftware.Exceptas
otherwiseagreedbyDLinkinwriting,thereplacementSoftwareisprovidedonlytotheoriginallicensee,andissubjecttothetermsandconditions
of the license granted by D-Link for the Software. Replacement Software will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period and is
subjecttothesamelimitationsandexclusions.Ifamaterialnon-conformanceisincapableofcorrection,orifD-Linkdeterminesinitssolediscretion
thatitisnotpracticaltoreplacethenon-conformingSoftware,thepricepaidbytheoriginallicenseeforthenon-conformingSoftwarewillbe
refunded by D-Link; provided that the non-conforming Software (and all copies thereof) is rst returned to D-Link. The license granted respecting
any Software for which a refund is given automatically terminates.
Non-Applicability of Warranty:
The Limited Warranty provided hereunder for Hardware and Software portions of D-Link’s products will not be applied to and does not cover any
refurbishedproductandanyproductpurchasedthroughtheinventoryclearanceorliquidationsaleorothersalesinwhichD-Link,thesellers,or
theliquidatorsexpresslydisclaimtheirwarrantyobligationpertainingtotheproductandinthatcase,theproductisbeingsold“As-Is”withoutany
warrantywhatsoeverincluding,withoutlimitation,theLimitedWarrantyasdescribedherein,notwithstandinganythingstatedhereintothecontrary.
Submitting A Claim:
Thecustomershallreturntheproducttotheoriginalpurchasepointbasedonitsreturnpolicy.Incasethereturnpolicyperiodhasexpiredandthe
productiswithinwarranty,thecustomershallsubmitaclaimtoD-Linkasoutlinedbelow:
• The customer must submit with theproduct aspart ofthe claim awritten description ofthe Hardware defect orSoftware
nonconformanceinsucientdetailtoallowDLinktoconrmthesame,alongwithproofofpurchaseoftheproduct(suchasa
copy of the dated purchase invoice for the product) if the product is not registered.
• ThecustomermustobtainaCaseIDNumberfromD-LinkTechnicalSupportat1-877-453-5465,whowillattempttoassistthe
customerinresolvinganysuspecteddefectswiththeproduct.Iftheproductisconsidereddefective,thecustomermustobtaina
Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) number by completing the RMA form and entering the assigned Case ID Number at https://
rma.dlink.com/.
