Configuring via Web-based Interface
IPv6
Go to the IPv6 tab to change IPv6 address of the extender and configure IPv6 addresses assignment
settings.

Parameter Description
Local IPv6 Address
Mode of local IPv6
address assignment
Select the needed value from the drop-down list.
Static: an IPv6 address and a prefix are specified manually.
Dynamic: the extender requests a prefix to configure an IPv6
address from a delegating router.
IPv6 address
The IPv6 address of the extender in the local subnet. By default, the
following value is specified: fd01::50. The field is available for
editing, if the Static value is selected from the Mode of local
IPv6 address assignment drop-down list.
Prefix
The length of the prefix subnet. By default, the value 64 is
specified. The field is available for editing, if the Static value is
selected from the Mode of local IPv6 address assignment
drop-down list.
Gateway IPv6 address
The gateway IPv6 address which is used by the extender to connect
to the Internet (e.g., for synchronizing the system time with an NTP
server). Optional.
When all needed settings are configured, click the APPLY button.
