Router
On the home page, you can proceed to secure your wireless network. To secure your network, you may customize your Wi-Fi
Network Name (SSID) and Password by clicking on the router icon. You may also customize the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network
settings independently.
• Click on the router icon with the
next to “DIR-518L” to
start the wizard.
• Click Secure your network in the pop-up.
On the Wireless page, you can customize the Wi-Fi Network
Name (SSID) and Password for both bands.
Note: Enter a password with a minimum of 8 characters.
• Click Save. The settings will take effect and you will be
disconnected from the network.
