Configuring via Web-based Interface
VPN
In this menu you can configure VPN connections based on IPsec/GRE/EoGRE/EoIP/IPIP protocols
and create a PPTP or L2TP server and accounts for access to it.
On the VPN / IPsec page, you can configure VPN tunnels based on IPsec protocol.
IPsec is a protocol suite for securing IP communications.

To allow IPsec tunnels, click the ENABLE button. Upon that the Tunnels and Status sections
and the Logging level drop-down list are displayed on the page.
In the Status section, the current state of an existing tunnel is displayed.
From the Logging level drop-down list, select a detail level of messages recorded to the system
log or leave the value specified by default. The Basic value is recommended to establish an IPsec
tunnel faster. To view the log, go to the System / Log page (see the Log section, page 329).
