Why is my Da-Lite Contour Electrol making noise?

  If your Da-Lite Projection Screen is making excessive noise (other than a low hum), it could be due to several reasons. Squeaking might be from the rubber end plug rubbing on the motor, which can be resolved by centering the roller in the case. Grinding sounds or other noises could indicate a foreign object rubbing on the roller or fabric. It may also be gear noise. In these cases, replacing the motor assembly might be necessary.
