Group (Routine) Cleaning Instructions
The message "Clean Group" appears on the display every
50 cycles to inform you that the system is overdue for a
routine cleaning, Group (routine) cleaning involves cleaning
the coffee dispenser, the milk foamer, the drip tray and
surrounding areas and a system flush, Clean the milk
foamer even if milk drinks have not been dispensed because
it is used to brew coffee as well. The "Clean Group"
message will disappear after the cleaning process is done.
What to Use
o Solution of mild detergent and warm water
0 Soft, lint-free cloth
o Coffee system cleaning brush (supplied with unit)
Cleaning the Inside of the Coffee System
1. Make sure the power switch is on.
2. Pull the coffee system out from the cabinet.
3. Open the ground coffee chute door on top of the
unit. Pull out the ground coffee chute. Wipe out any
grounds sticking to it and replace it.
4. Remove the drip tray and open the front panel and
brewing unit doors according to the instructions
starting on page 22.
5. Empty any water out of the drip tray. Wipe it with a
soft cloth dampened with mild detergent. Rinse with
water.

Empty the used coffee grounds bin.
Turn off the power switch and allow the piston
assembly to cool for 30 minutes.
Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any
residual coffee grounds from the piston assembly and
the inside of the brewing unit. The piston may still be hot.

The power switch must be on during
group cleaning for the "Clean
Group" warning to reset.
