RADIATOR (OPTIONAL)
Radiators must be handled and in-
stalled properly to avoid coolant
leaks. It should be a daily routine
to check the engine coolant level.
Check it before each use while the
engine is cold.
To avoid personal injury:
Do not remove the radiator
cap or coolant reserve tank
cap while the engine is hot.
Escaping steam or coolant will
cause serious injury to you or
any bystanders. Before open-
ing the cap, wait for at least
10 minutes after stopping the
engine.

(1) Pressure Cap
1. Open the radiator cap and check
that the radiat or i s filled w ith
coolantuptoitsllerneck.
2. If it is equipped with the reservoir
tank, check that the coolant level
in the reservoir tank is between the
"FULL" and "LOW" marks.

3. If coolant is insufficient, fill the
radiator or reservoir tank with
clean water. When it needs to
add more coolant, confirm that
the drain plugs on the bottom of
the radiator and on the side of the
crankcasearermlytightened.
