In case a ducted indoor unit is serving
a different room than where it is
installed, both supply and return air
MUST be directly ducted to that
room.
The room area and remote controller
rules MUST be followed only in the
served room when a given room is
served by only one ducted indoor unit
installed in a different room.
In all other situations both the room
where the ducted unit is installed and
the served room(s) need to follow the
room area and remote controller
rules.
A: No room area restrictions apply. No
remote controller required.
B: Room area restrictions apply, and
installation of remote controller
required.

In case of two R32 safety system
compatible remote controllers, at
least one remote controller should be
in the room of the indoor.
