Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw holding the wire to the motor housing
or the frame. Slide the wire out from under the strap holding it and insert the new
wire. If the holding strap is broken, use new straps to replace them. Replace the
screw to complete the assembly. Bend or twist the wire slightly to point it straight
down.

Carefully lift the machine to an upright position.
Insert the red service maintenance key and turn on the switch. Turn on the machine
and test it for correct operation.
Storage
1) Short term storage:
For storage overnight or a few days, protect against temperature extremes,
moisture, and excessive humidity.
2) Long term storage:
Protect against temperature extremes, moisture, and excessive humidity. The
machine should be left plugged into an AC outlet to charge the batteries. The
charger uses minimum power in this standby-mode and maintains the batteries at
full charge and extends battery life.
Caution:
The machine must not be covered or placed in a
room with little air circulation when the charger is
plugged in. Hydrogen gas is formed when
charging the batteries. Do not charge batteries in
an area with open flame or around electrical
equipment that could cause an electrical arc.
3) Alternate long term storage:
Protect against temperature extremes, moisture, and excessive humidity. Remove
the batteries and maintain them away from the machine.
