What does E4 error mean on my DCS RF24D LCD Drawer?

  If you see an E4 error code on the display panel of your DCS LCD Drawer and hear an audible alarm sounding six times every minute, it indicates a display thermistor “sensor A” fault. Possible causes and solutions: 1. Check the wiring diagram on the back of the unit and reconnect any disconnected wire. 2. If the thermistor wires are shorted, replace the thermistor. 3. The thermistor might be faulty and needs replacement.

  If your DCS LCD Drawer is sounding an audible alarm six times every minute and the LED light is flashing red, it indicates a High and Low Temperature alarm. To reset the alarms, press the “ON/OFF” button for approximately one second. Note that the alarm will resume if the alarm condition still exists.

  If the compressor, condenser fan, internal fan(s), heater, reverse gas solenoid, and alarms on your DCS LCD Drawer are not working but the display is functioning normally, it might be in Show Room Mode. To exit, press and hold the “ON/OFF” button while performing a “Power On Reset” (POR), meaning disconnect and reconnect the power supply to the unit.

  If the temperature controls are not raising or lowering the set temperature on your DCS LCD Drawer, it's likely because you are not pressing and holding the “SET” button on the display panel while pressing either the “WARMER” or “COOLER” button. Press and hold the “SET” button and then press either the “WARMER” or “COOLER” button to adjust the temperature by one degree F or C, depending on the setting.
