8 Commissioning
DANGER!
Danger to life caused by electric current!
Danger to life caused by electric shock when contacting live components.
The external power supply must be set up according to the local regulations.
A line protection breaker 10 A B or 6 A C should be installed so that the EC-6 can be isolated
from the mains voltage.
The line protection breaker must be freely accessible.
WARNING!
Danger caused by non-apparent movement of the machine!
When commissioning the DEGER systems, moving parts can cause serious injuries.
Do not stay in the rotating and slewing range of the DEGER systems.
Remove any objects from the rotating and slewing range of the DEGER systems.
9 Inspection for free movement
9.1 Initiate the inspection for free movement
In order to make sure, that the mechanics of the DEGER systems are freely moveable and that all cables are
long enough and the limit switches turn off the motors, one must move through the complete distance of the
EMO and azimuth drive.
ATTENTION!
If several DEGER systems are connected to one CCB, the inspection for free movement must be
performed for each individual system. This way, possible faults can already be localized before
damage occurs.
9.2 Scope of the inspection for free movement
Cables must not be mechanically strained
Limit switches turn off the corresponding drive in good time
The full rotation and slewing range is reached
No unusual noises
1. The simplest way to execute the freedom of movement test is with the joystick of the CCB.
2. Alternatively, you may also supply the drives for EL and AZ from a 12 to 26 V battery pack.
Change the sense of rotation in the EC-6 as per wiring diagram
