Managing the VxFlex OS system
This section describes how to manage the VxFlex OS system.
Extending an existing VxFlex OS system
Options for adding nodes to an existing system.
You can add nodes to an existing system, as well as extend the MDM cluster from a 3-
node to a 5-node cluster. Depending on your system, you can use the VxFlex OS
Installer (for physical servers) or the vSphere plug-in (for ESXi servers).

Cluster operations
Use the VxFlex OS GUI Hardware view to perform cluster operations such as adding
and removing standby servers, adding and removing Managers and TieBreakers, and
replacing a Master MDM.
The following cluster operations can be performed using the Cluster menu in the
Hardware view:
