1. Align the base cover with the palm rest and keyboard assembly and snap it into place.
2. Replace the seven screws (M2.5x5) that secure the base cover to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Tighten the three captive screws that secure the base cover to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
