Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
Procedure
1. Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board cable from the status-light board.
2. Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the status-light board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Lift the status-light board off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
