Removing the coin-cell battery

CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program’s settings to default. It is recommended that
you note the BIOS setup program’s settings before removing the coin-cell battery.
Prerequisites
1. Remove the computer cover.
2. Remove the front bezel.
3. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 6 in “Removing the optical drive”.
Procedure
1. Press on the edge of the coin-cell battery until the coin-cell battery pops up.
2. Lift the coin-cell battery out of its socket the battery socket on the system board.
