Prerequisites
Remove the computer cover.
Procedure
1. Locate the password jumper (PSWD) on the system board and remove the jumper plug from the password jumper-pins.
NOTE:
For more information on the location of the jumper, see “System-board components”.
2. Wait for five seconds.
3. Replace the jumper plug in its original location.
